A program that ends at Day 30 is a souvenir. A system that runs past Day 30 is a life. The following twelve weeks are designed to take the practices you have installed and let them settle into the grain of your days. You will not add new material; you will repeat the old material at a sustainable pace.

Weekly Rhythm (run every week for the next 12 weeks)#

TuesdayCool-Down Protocol rehearsal + one voluntary discomfort10 min

Monthly Cadence (once per month, for the next 3 months)#

  • Month 1 (Weeks 1–4): Re-read Phase I (Days 1–8). Tighten the Morning Shield. The goal is to make the dichotomy automatic.
  • Month 2 (Weeks 5–8): Re-read Phase II (Days 9–16). The Cool-Down Protocol should now fire without the card.
  • Month 3 (Weeks 9–12): Re-read Phase III & IV (Days 17–30). Voluntary discomfort should now be a weekly habit, not a stunt.

The Three Quarterly Check-Ins (Weeks 4, 8, 12)#

At the end of each month, answer in writing:

  1. What is one thing this month proved I can endure that I used to think I could not?
  2. What is one friction I have not yet removed — and what would it cost to remove it next month?
  3. Whom have I become more useful to — and whom have I neglected?
  4. If the next 90 days were lived as one repetition of this day, what kind of life would that be?

Beyond Week 12#

After twelve weeks the system is no longer a program; it is a temperament. You will no longer need to consult this document daily. You will consult it twice a year — once on the anniversary of Day 1, and once when something breaks — when a loss, a setback, or a season of noise sends you back to the citadel. Keep this document where you can find it. The map is here.
